My response to the lyrics of that Norwegian music video that went viral not long ago.

    1. Thank you, Robin. Foxes are featured in many Japanese fairy tales and children's songs. Traditionally, they are thought to have certain magical powers, which they often use for deceiving humans. In Hokkaido we have our own species of fox called the Kita Kitsune (northern fox).

  2. This is very dynamic and alive. I love the pink mouth and white underbelly. Is the paper brwon or is that also painted? Lovely.

    1. Thanks for your comment! The fox is painted on washi paper, then cut out and glued to corrugated cardboard. The words are written directly onto the cardboard with a black marker. :)

  3. I guess I'm out of touch with viral music videos, but I did see a fox this past week. Maybe I'll look up the video. I love your "bees in bloom".
