illustration friday (dessert)

I was fantasizing about a galaxy where the planets and asteroids were pies of different types, and that led to the twist on the saying "pie in the sky," which is apparently a cynical way to refer to heavenly rewards (a cynicism I do not share).

  6. @lolo, I just took a look at your gifts. Those are some awesome items your friend sent you. I have a red ink paste pot just like yours. That authentic stuff is NOT cheap. But I'm most impressed that your friend ordered a carved name seal to be made for you. That's going to be so much fun to use!
