more ripples
This is the second series of etegami I drew for the Ripple project. The cards in the first series are already on their way to the generous people who "bought" them with a $10 donation to one of two non-profit organizations working to rescue the wildlife endangered by the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. Further details and links can be found in my previous post: Making Ripples.

Debbie you do excellent work. The oil spill is so sad! I live in Florida i hate the thought of this oil spilling in our precious waters. The thought of the poor animals is awful and sad.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is sad, isn't it. The issues in the background of this oil spill are complex, and I don't presume to know the solutions. But I'm glad to have this outlet of showing concern and making a tiny bit of difference.
ReplyDeleteI love these cards! I saw your work on the Ripple blog. I haven't lived in Japan since I was 5 but I still have family there. Looking forward to reading your other blogs!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to meet you. Goomie! Thanks for dropping by. I enjoyed looking at your blog, and look forward to seeing more of your work. I'm sure to bump into you again!
