illustration friday (puzzled 2)

This is one of a series of etegami which I've been working on to give my husband on our 35th wedding anniversary. It's the first time I ever thought of making him an etegami as a gift. It makes me a little nervous to think too much about it. I am rather self-conscious about overt expressions of love. I hope it's not too subtle to get the message across.

Here are two more for my "Holes" series. I keep thinking I've done as much as I can with it, and then I get obsessed with a new idea. The one at the top doubles as this week's Illustration Friday submission on the topic "puzzled."
