I filled empty chocolate boxes with etegami fish. The original contents of the box were the small blocks of chocolates pictured on the front, and they are now in my tummy. I glued the typed words on the front of the box, glued etegami fish to the tray inside, and added other etegami decorations that aren't visible in the photos. If you still want one like this, I'll be happy to make you one. :)dosankodebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357411708254011194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-36770348089638862992015-04-01T18:12:51.143-07:002015-04-01T18:12:51.143-07:00And here I am, the Queen of Poisson d'avril. ...And here I am, the Queen of Poisson d'avril. Lieve is right about the fish on your back and also about the candy. Except the silvery fish in your candy box really does have chocolate inside. http://www.parisbreakfast.com/ I would love to have one of these candy box fish, even though I am so very very far behind in sending etegami. Could I possibly have one on credit? :-) Joyeaux poisson d'avril.Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14861178022355237465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-37856563993396487952015-04-01T13:57:39.133-07:002015-04-01T13:57:39.133-07:00Lieve, I had heard that custom from someone before...Lieve, I had heard that custom from someone before but had forgotten about it. Thank you for reminding me! If I had remembered, it would have been a good explanation for this mail art. :)dosankodebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357411708254011194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-80723989432034462002015-04-01T08:39:06.884-07:002015-04-01T08:39:06.884-07:00Your boxes make me think about april fools' da...Your boxes make me think about april fools' day. Overhere (Belgium) it is often represented by a fish, April Fish, (in French : poisson d'avril) : people attach secretly a "paper-fish" on the back of another person. (Someone did it to me today...)<br />So it is with your box : you think you get chocolates, but there is a fish inside. Funny !Lievehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04904638017759185049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-55631035033756852382015-04-01T00:12:02.608-07:002015-04-01T00:12:02.608-07:00Hi, Jacki.
