That costs more postage, but I think it is worth it.

When using an envelope, people often decorate the envelope too. This is so that all the people involved in the process (post office personnel, etc) can enjoy the artwork. I started laminating my cards a few months ago because the extra-soft washi cards I use were getting damaged so often when I sent them to overseas addresses. (this never happens in Japan)

Remember, I won't be returning your submission, but I will send you one of my cards in return, as long as you write your return address clearly. Thanks so much for being willing to participate! : )

btw, the gallery for received mailart is a separate blog from this one: http://mailartgallery.blogspot.comdosankodebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357411708254011194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-51043419437194646492010-01-20T16:33:03.004-08:002010-01-20T16:33:03.004-08:00Hi Debbie, beautiful etegami in your gallery. I'm afraid the paper will be destroyed during the rough mail handling process. Please advise. We have a diff theme each week. The first was "fruit". This week it is "mountain".Anuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15082640951760126632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-87868650984729724422010-01-17T14:48:05.042-08:002010-01-17T14:48:05.042-08:00Thanks Karin, I look forward to getting your maila...Thanks Karin, I look forward to getting your mailart!dosankodebbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04357411708254011194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-2717716670469724822010-01-17T11:36:24.332-08:002010-01-17T11:36:24.332-08:00beautiful cards!beautiful cards!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18235299474427162117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3540266278914019686.post-43710839694745992022010-01-12T13:45:37.693-08:002010-01-12T13:45:37.693-08:00Great!
